Anniversary : The plan

1. Looking for anniversary idea and I found one interesting idea...every anniversary take a pics at the same place...eg in front of ur house..so blhla tgk progress dr tahun ke tahun rumah dh renovate kah..anak bertambah ka.tp cam susah nk amik gmbr sdiri plakkan?
2. At the same time I saw ilovediscount promo for whiteroom studio..so after considering we never had a studio photoshoot, bought two voucher (hmm since one voucher for half an hour)
3. Most of the idea for anniversary, with help mr google
4. Original idea posted http://tepungpelita.blogspot.com/2012/01/proposal-celebrating-3-years-of.html. However not all turn as planned
5. The good thing about studio photoshoot, u don't reaaly have to bring props...just use what they have
6. Lesson learnt, googlemaps is useful to estimate travelling time but please plus 15-30 min for parking, 15-30 min for "sesi sesat ke mana2"
7. We do not have specific concept..just belasah agak2. 1st session bodeklicious + purplelicious , 2nd session RBW! But everyone dpt baju baru...pening mak carik baju tau!
8. Our photo session start 11.30 am, went out around 1030, then sbb xinclude sesat, parking...smpi almost 12pm
9. Overall photo session was enjoyful...cuma bnyk sgt gmbr Afham..since most of the time he was shy, maka lbh bnyk gmbr dia...
10. We even sang boboiboy theme song, nk bg Afham mood...haha
11. Since we were late we missed out the buffet..buffet start around 1 tp sbb tggu cd siap sume kul 130 br siap
12. Maybe will go next year kot tempat yg nk g mkn tu kot.but only two of us..
13. End up mkn kat kenny rogers..haha pstu mkn ngan anak mcm biasalah x berapa nk aman
14. Husband said its like our family outing not anniversary celebration..hahaha
15. But dlm xjd ke tempat buffet luch tu, we just have new experience...crusing at the mines ( lps tu skrg p mines afham asik request..naik bot, naik bot)

Proposal : Celebrating 3 years of anniversary

Dear husband,

Less than 2 months we will celebrate our 3rd anniversary. So I’m thinking to have a celebration for this year.

We do not celebrate 1st year as we just get our lil Afham, 2nd year plak I’m in pregnancy mood.

So I just think this is the perfect year to celebrate, at least we have some moments to be remembered later. I knew I'm not good in giving surprise so on, so I hope you don’t mind with this arrangement (nak wat cmner...terigin nk bg suprise tp klu beli barang naik kereta sure la gak nmpk barang...)

At first I thought to have just two of us having our dating time on the anniversary day itself, but after considering that I need to pump my milk at least twice (plus beg susu with all those ice packs...) hmm lecehla plak..so I hope you don’t mind if we celebrate it together with Afham & Alif

Below are the proposal plan:
1. Take a day leave on 14.3.2012 Wednesday
2. Have our family photoshoot @ whiteroom for one hour session
3. Eat, buffet lunch at XYZ
4. Jalan2
5. Balik

I do not disclose further details here, but please read ur email (it’s the same except the email have more details with draft plan (with estimated travelling time))

I hope you will agree with this proposal. I knew that you will read my blog, but afraid you’ll overlook email. So to be safe I post here and send the email as well.

Oh ya, the arrangement will be done by me (plus the bill!). No surprise thingy, but all arrangement purely done with love.

Any disagreement (or to change tempat makan) kindly inform ASAP

2. Makan serentak - ayah suap Afham, ibu suap diri sendiri. Time Alif newborn blhla ibu makan smbl Alif tdo dlm stroller, skrg Alif xde tdo time keluar. Sudahle suka melompat..maka ibu makan sikit, pstu bg Alif lompat2, smbg makan, bg Alif lompat lagi (huhu letih! hari tu kat Ikea ada auntie yg sgt baik hati offer nk pgg Alif suh ibu makan,tp terpaksa la ibu tolak pelawaan tu sbbnya xmo auntie ni patah tangan dek lompatan Alif). Very soon dua2 suap sorg satu anak

Klinik

1. Dua2 masuk jumpa doc, salah sorg pegang Afham

2. Dr tnya "sorg je ke?". my answer "husband kat luar". Husband jaga Afham kat luar-klu klinik kanak2 sure Afham sibuk nk main bola, etc. Ibu bawa Alif jumpa doktor....agaknya doktor tgk ibu serabut dgn henbeg, kain lampin, muka serabai..

Shopping

1. Blh jalan saing2

2. Ayah bawak Afham fav spot mcm depan tv banyak (lg bagus klu ada cd Boboi Boy), tak pun pegi tgk ikan2 dlm akuarium...ibu g carik barang dgn Alif

Beauty regime

1. Tak de dah..lps tu dpt tau pregnant lg pun sama xde mood melawa

2. Lgla xde.Mandi pun diskaun bnyk..hoho belek muka kat cermin mak ai serabai diri, hari2 yg kelam kabut lg teruk..tangan penuh macam2, tak cukup tangan. Mulut pun selit ape yg boleh...tgk groupon promo spa, alahai bestnya...tapi bila nk click beli fikir berkali2 ntah bila nk peginye.

Laundry

1. Boleh poyo2 basuh seminggu sekali. biasa dua kali seminggu

2. Basuh baju seminggu sekali? boleh pengsan wo time sidai.basuh dua kali seminggu pun boleh berpinau mata nk sidai.maka skrg basuh at least 3 kali seminggu...blom citer part timbunan baju bersih yg dh mcm gunung kinabalu. masih lg mencari rentak

Of course a lot of thing change, nak tulis satu2 xcukup masa...and both need attention. Anak rapat mmg kena sorg handle sorg satu...since Afham pun blm blh independent lg. Adakala rasa xsabar nk dioarg besar! (haha...lps tu klu nakal2 nk suh diorg jd baby balik..boleh gitu? ape kes?)

Apepun still belajar dan mencari rentak menjadi ibu kepada dua org anak...nanti klu dh tiga org pun still kena belajar dan cari rentak ibu kepada tiga org anak...tak gitu?

....and its four of us (now I wonder how many kids we have if we met earlier =p)

Do you remember the moment/ the very first time you know ur husband? My husband sometimes asked me like this "Yang, kita dh kenal berapa lama ye?" and since I am not super romantic to remember all those important that, my answer always like agak2...

So while looking back to previous entries here and here, it really helps to remind me the first moment we say hi to each other (even tho its thru YM)

Oh on top of that husband also always asked hong long we have been married...the recent one like this

Me : Dua taun lebih la

Husband : Ye ke? apesal br sekali jek celebrate anniversary?

Me : Lah..dh yg 1st tu afham baru seminggu lahir..sy dlm pantang, nk celebrate cmne?

While writing this I notice few things

14/ 11/ 07 - first time say hi

14/ 3/ 09 - our big day

and last but not least the gap between 14 /11/07 to 14/ 3 / 09 is 16months..which about 1 year and 4 months

Does it look like 14 is our lucky number or perhaps just a nice coincidences?

This year will be our third year beraya dgn 4 anggota keluarga...To be thruthful, nasib la dlm maternity leave..maka sesi packing-mempacking tak perlula smpi kena stay up..

But, it will be a lot of things to pack! *now I wonder klu family ramai anak2 kecik balik beraya naik flight..bawak brg cmne?*

Since raya will be end of month...I just finished pay all utilities bills and housing loan, while husband will pay his loans (car so on)..The rest need to finished packing by tonight, since tomorrow we will have a long journey Puchong - Segamat - Felda Ulu Tebrau

Most concern thing, hopefully Afham will behave in the car *he is not car seat type..when we balik kedah last time, husband and me pening..nasib tak kena saman sbb budak ni*

Anyway, that's all..need to continue with some packing and listing *hopefully I can share my raya checklist only after raya..so next year blhla guna lagik..yg last year still applicable but with addition to family member the list is a lil bit longer*

While glancing to facebook *ha cik jah..time cuti maternity je ada chance nk buka muka-buka kerap sikit..tp itupun bkn priority*..I noticed my sister wall*

Erk..I dunno exactly how many times she has become bridesmaid...but I still wonder when will be her turn? Ada sapa2 yg ada sedara2 bujang kat Segamat sila bgtau..supaya dia leh dating *ceh ayat promo apekah ini*

So while looking to CD, I know that I owe the final output of our Family Outdoor Photoshoot as promised here..since I only post one picture here during our photoshoot

Afham just turn 1 year 1 month and 2 days during the photoshoot, while myself pregnant 29 weeks 3 days.

Tragedi Ramadhan ini..

First of all..selamat berpuasa to all Muslim readers

Secondly, yesterday I was in upstairs toilet..and suddnely my hp rang..Husband said "tepon bunyi" and since the hp nearby him and I am lazy to go downstairs I said "angkatlah.."

Then I heard he talk with someone I believe he familiar..Once the hp conversation ended, husband said.."rumah kat kg kena langgar"..

Erk..yes before this I think I am familiar with accidents news *hoho tau tak I always takut kalau makan tepi2 jalan2 yg bnyk2 kereta lalu lalang..takut2 time ngap..tiba kereta langgar..ei mintak dijauhkanlah..*

Then husband made few phone calls and the most important thing Alhamdulillah nobody seriusly injured / killed...cuma driver yg rempuh tu kot injured and of course rumah la dh berubah wajah

He said SIL upload the pic in her facebook..so here the "tragedi ramadan ini"

So next week we will balik kg *actually we do plan to balik Kedah during Ramadhan since this year raya turn balik my kg*...

Twenty nine plus one lah!

Today I'm officially in 3 series...erk it just a figure

Plus this is the first time birthday in booo-lat version...lg sebulan +- nk berjuang di labour room

Anyway at 12pm last night, encik suami gave me a sweet suprise! Yes its really a suprise for me...sbb myself mmg sah2 sudah tido, while he wait until 12 tgh malam semata2 nk wish and also bg present..Tenkiu abang..I love u!

For the rest, I have no mood to write..personal achievement most likely in career - few things still not achieved. But most likely it is stuck because sibuk menambah bilangan anak..thehehe...Never mind maybe my luck and rezeki after 2nd one. Insya Allah

Baby + Family + Outdoor photoshoot tips

Remember my entry to on Mrs Zach giveaway? Oh ya its not my luck to win it...but we manage to have family outdoor photoshoot

After knowing that I do not win it..I still thinking of having one photoshoot..simply because Afham already turns 1 and also I think we need a family photo..


So while bloghopping I notice this deal..and straight away sms encik suami asking ok or not..He simply texted me "ikut suka hati awakla"






So I just puchased it and plan the day..I even planned that Afham will not having his haircut until the photoshoot! *keh2 sbb ibu dia fikir dia xcomel botak!* But something happened *ok2 anniversary arituh kitaorg balik Kedah..dia kena gigit nyamuk..bkn kat badan hatta kepala sekali..so nak tak nak potong sajalah rambut tu senang sikit nk sapu krim dan jugak tidakle dia garu sbb kena gigit dan rimas*

Then I asked the photographer to reschedule the date...at least a month plus..however he cannot make it..So just stick to the original date *tapi by that time dah 3 week plus potong rambut..tidakle botak sgt*

So the day came..a week before that I asked encik suami to have visit to Putrajaya..since I really not familiar with the beautiful areas despite I knew many brides have done outdoor at Putrajaya..*ok gogel2 mak baru tahu ada pantai buatan manusia sbelah pullman tu pdhal dh bnyk gak gambar tgk tanpa tahu itulah tempatnya*. But I prefer to have a greener photoshoot..so we visit Taman Botani, and Wetland (wetland ada 2 entry..1 yg ada menara tinjau, 1 lg ada pusat rekreasi)

Satisfied with the place, I email photog the details and confirmation..

Till the day came..and to be frank I am a little bit nervous *keh3 bukan nak kawin tp sbb takut tiba2 kot2 Afham meragam..kena plak cancel so on*

So here I shared some tips that hopefully might help you to plan for for your family photoshoot

1. Indoor/ outdoor - depend on your preference. Few months ago encik suami suggested to have studio photoshoot..but I think studio photoshoot mcm kaku plak..

2. Duration - some package offer 1 hour or even 3 hours package. Which one to choose? it depends on your preference..but to be truth 1 hour is consider enough *unless baby tido time nk shoot..so 3 hours tu oklah to get pics sleep - wake up - feeding - posing*

3. Casual - oh family photoshoot do not need a specific posing mcm pengantin...esp if you have kid/ baby which still not understand simple instruction..disuruh senyum belum tentu dia buat..so the best is bersantai2 smbil diambil gambar

4. Place and time (in case u choose outdoor) - pls choose appropriate place...jgnle tempat banyak nyamuk, shooting dh nk dekat2 maghrib (xperlula nk matahari terbenam), tempat yg panas (matahari atas kepala), tempat berlalang2 gitu...pls always consider ur little ones.

5. Clothing - depends ou urself..nak pakaikan anak baju funky, theme, baju harimau/katak/kucing...or maybe u want the whole family in red/ blue/ green / colourful or so on. Casual or not depends on you. Of course if you have baby girl, you can wear them some accessories - ribbon, headbands, tiara so on.

But the main thing get something that everyone look great and comfortable *pengantin lain dia mmg kena rela pakai baju songket berpanas time outdoor..baby plak can easily get crancky if not comfortable*. Please bring extra clothings esp for ur little one *in case tiba2 termuntah ke, pampers bocor ke...*.

Oh ya in case ur little one start solid..please bring along their food / snack..in case suddenly they want to munch/ snacking! *eh ok pe gmbr baby makan biskut..blh jd model Farley Rusk*

6. Props - yes you always can brings some props, but most likely it will be ur son/ daughter toys..But don't bring the whole toys..*tak kan nak bawak selori mainan*. At least get one or two ur children fav toys. It can be anything from small/ big ball, soft books, rattle, teether, bumbo seat, bicycle, tricyle, umbrella, mat... *most likely depends on ur child age + development jugaklah kan...*

7. Do not put high expectation - yes anything can happened! It might not turns perfect and smooth sailing as u cannot predict what will happened..esp babies..they can get cranky, or maybe tiba2 on that day sakit gigi ke..or sleepy time photoshoot..101 things can happened. So just enjoy the time and you always can talk with your photographer...maybe some creative ideas can pop up *klu baby dh tido je..pun still boleh ambil gambar baby tido..believe me gambar baby tido pun cantik and of course lagi 2-3 tahun tgk gambar tu mesti rasa "so peaceful and calm".

8. Please get prepared early *like a day/ night before* - please plan all the things - iron the cloths, get ready the diaper bag, pack all the props earlier. Don't do it on the day itself, esp if your photoshoot in the morning. Because ur little one can be crancky, wake up early or might want ur attention while u are busy for last minute *ok..sylah tu..pagi tu bgn awal dgn harapan siap pack br Afham bgn..tgk2 dia bangun sblm sy sempat pack all those things..sudahlah tu dia nk berdukung pagi tu..end up ada la tertinggal barang*


Afterall just enjoy the photoshoot! Hope this 8 tips on family outdoor photoshoot will help you..

special note : out photoshoot on 09.04.2011 and that day I remark as he first day day we notice Afham panggil kucing *mula2 xperasan apesal mulut dia bunyi2..rupanya he knows how we buat bunyi suh kucing dtg* plus that was the first day he have a ride, naik kereta bunyi2 yg masuk coins/ token tu..all the while kalau diletak sure dia takut!

exactly a week after that he made a move to walk by himself! although it just 5-6 steps, he do it most of the time (yes a lil bit late..at 13 months br jalan..but still consider normal jugalah kan)

Really cannot wait!

Day by day it getting hard to update any single entry. I wonder my life after our 2nd baby..how it would be?

I really hope I wont lost my mojo in writing..Uhuks..mojo? And not losing my reader? Uhuk..ada reader keh blog cabuk-cikai ini?

Digigit lipan di musim raya

Orang balik2 raya citer duitr raya anak ke, cerita pasal makan bnyk ke..open house ke...tp me nk cerita kisah digigit lipan di musim raya...yg kena gigit? dah tentula myself!

Raya kedua

Around 6pm - Beraya ke rumah Pak Chaq.

Almost 10pm - Balik rumah MIL.Afham dh lena xingat..letih berjalan raya kot. While myself siap2la nk tdo, bentang2 toto...susun nk tdo mana, solat, so on..Dh nama balik kg, tdo kat ruang tamu...Afham, myself, tok, Boboi (sepupu encik suami) kat bawah, while encik suami memilih di atas kerusi 3 seater.

Around 12am - "Night shift" Afham...

Around 2am - Tersentap rasa mcm kena gigit..Rasa mcm mimpi, tengok Afham ok je...betul2 letih kot. Lengan rasa semacam.Pi la gi carik lampu...nampak mcm kesan 2 titik. silap tengok kot..Masuk bilik bukak lampu, sah ada bekas gigitan, rasa sakit la jugak...Time tu dh teringat email fwd2 yg kena gigit ngan spider siap nanah sume tuh! Takut la dalam hati..

Nak kejut encik suami tapi mcm xsure...last2 takut la jugak ntah hape gigit...Kejut2 encik suami dia cepat2 kejut MIL. Dah kecoh2 Boboi pun bangun, MIL kata lipan kot gigit, Boboi pun kata cmtu, Tok pulak kata semut (Boboi kata masa dia kena gigit lipan dulu pun Tok kata cmtuh hihihi).

Encik suami alihkan Afham dalam bilik..

Dalam kecoh2 tiba2 nmpk la labah2 besar, encik suami sibuk la dok kejar nk bunuh. Sibuk2 nk bunuh labah2, MIL nmpk lipan...apa lagi dh xkejar dah spider tu..misi nk bunuh lipan plak sblm mangsa lain terkena pulak. Nasik la spider tu xjadik mangsa x bersalah

Misi berjaya..lipan tu bkn anak lipan tapi lipan dewasa (xtau nk kata bapak lipan atau ibu lipan..xcek jantina). Saiz panjang ada gak dkt2 sejengkal! MIL kata ni lipan rumah, kalau lipan bara lg bisa..

Sambil2 tu sapu la minyak panas (tapikan xrasa panas...) kena gigit tu sakitla...tp sakit nk bersalin lg sakit

Around 2.45 am - call Mak Su tnya klinik mana 24 jam..so dgn kain batik naik kereta cari klinik. OTW Mak Su call kata nk ikut tunjuk kat mana klinik, patah balik jemput Mak Su. Pusing2 tapi malangnya klinik pun cuti raya

Around 3.15am - balik rumah.MIL cerita encik suami kena gigit lipan masa kecik2 dulu terus kata "Bomoh, bomoh" (haha sungguhla lawak...). Konon nk sapu la balik minyak panas...bila cek botol rupanya tu penawar resdung (haha patutla xrasa panas! bkn minyak..rupanya mak Boboi salah amik minyak..iyelah pagi2 buta mana la perasan). MIL bagi cuka sapu kat tempat gigit.

Lps tu sume smbg tdo..telan gak 2 biji panadol. Myself xboleh tdo, encik suami dok pegang tangan tnya sakit ke idak, nk g klinik ke x...

Around 4am - Tiba2 rasa mcm xleh tahan..dh start rasa denyut2. Encik suami kata okla kita try carik klinik. Again dgn pakai kain batik keluar...round2 tapi xjumpa..smbl tu keluar la citer encik suami sebut bomoh sbb masa kecik dia xcaye kat doktor...Encik suami tnya nk amik epidural tak nanti jumpa doktor (haha...sakit nk bersalin tu lain cerita..ni sakit kena gigit lain cerita)

Klinik 24 jam xjumpa tp char kway teow 24 jam ada pulak, paling lawak nmpk wisma pantai - since i'm not sure tnya la encik suami tu rupanya tu mmg hosp pantai (kitaorg gelak2 la masuk pantai sbb gigit lipan)

Dlm masa round tu slowly la bisa tu kurang, but at the same time nmpk signboard Hosp Kepala Batas

5.50am - register dan lps tu menunggu

6.20am - nurse bg jab, lps tu jumpa doktor..doktor tnya btl ke lipan yg gigit (erk ada rupa binatang lain ke gigit?). Daptla antibiotik dan ubat tahan sakit

Almost 7am - smpi rumah..OTW balik tu barulah boleh terlelap...Brla perasan Hosp Kepala Batas tu xleh jauh dr Kg Sg Seluang..setengah jam je (tp sbb xtau jadilah berjam2)

Afham mmgla baik..tido je spjg MIL jaga

Until now ada la gak rasa takut2 nk tdo, tu xtermasuk adala rasa risau kot2 la ternmpk binatang2 seangkatan dgnnya..isk2

Since this will be first time raya with lil one, I think I need a checklist ...So I will make simple checklist before encik suami started to ask “ mana ni, xbawa balik ke??” [haha encik suami, nanti klu sy dh terror bawak kereta kita switch keje nk? Sy drive, abg plak kemas2 tuk balik kg? Amacam..- I can imagine time tu surelah sesi bebel2 kuasa sepoloh from myself!]

Baju raya, baju beraya, baju bajan, selipar extra (note : plg penting butang baju melayu, samping, songkok – ekeke harus lengkap sbb nk gmbr family)

3 helai beli kt kedai xingat nama - tp kt bdr utama segamat, 2 helai cikde tolong beli kat jakel segamat, 4 helai dr ratu, bangi

total disaster : around rm170, price range rm3.5 - rm30..bila kira average dlm 20hinggit sehelai okla kan? (ni ayat pujuk diri lps kempis poket sdiri ekeke)

Hello Kitty, FT and Happy Birthday

I am a big fan of Hello Kitty, but now not really big fan..[hehe ayat apakah ini???]. Esp during uni time I have a collection of Hello Kitty...even there was one time I have received birthday present almost everything adalah barang Hello Kitty..magnet, clip, watch...Some of the things still exist, some of it gone with the wind..[ekeke bkn pe ada yg terjatuh kat tempat susah nk amik, ada yg dh terpatah and so on]

So the only Hello Kitty items that still in my hand maybe fridge magnet...But for a month plus almost 2 months (sigh..see i'm updating entri basi), I have added my new collection and it is a Hello Kitty handbag

Drum please....My sis gave it as a present...[encik suami amat jeles sbb rega bag itu adalah mahal...sbb bini dia pun xpernah beli handbag lebih 3ratus]

The fact that I still dun believe how my sis willingly to give it as a present. tp dh bg terima ajelah kan? Encik suami keep asking what I will give to my sis (its her birthday today!)...the answer...no idea, maybe later (abg, wife anda sudah sponser lobang2 hutang unexpected expenses...so blom ada ada ongkos mau beli present..)

Owh not only me received a present, encik suami also received something (I manage to gave lil suprise, I put it inside the car, while myself sibuk tuup2 lampu, kunci rumah)
